The Community Animal Care Assistant role at Blackstone Advisory focuses on delivering welfare support within the Parktown area. The position centres on consistent patrols along designated routes, where you will identify and feed stray animals, maintain hygienic and reliable feeding routines, and document all observations with accuracy. You will monitor animals for signs of distress, injury, or illness and report concerns promptly to the appropriate supervisor, while also engaging respectfully with community members to support awareness of animal-welfare practices. The role may include assisting with the safe handling or transport of animals in line with established protocols. This position offers the opportunity to develop skills in field operations, record-keeping, community engagement, and welfare monitoring.

The Surgical Assistant is expanding health-tech by addressing South Africa’s surgical staffing gap. The TSA platform connects qualified assistants and surgeons through a technology-enabled ecosystem. Since launching in 2023, the platform has grown to support thousands of professionals while improving theatre efficiency and expanding access to surgical support nationwide. Our network includes SurgiFlow.io, our on-demand booking system, the Surgical Assistant Academy for accredited clinical training, and the TSA NPO, which enables volunteer doctors to contribute to the state sector. We are seeking a Part-Time Data Quality Specialist to uphold the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of critical operational data maintained in Google Sheets. 

The Part-Time Data Quality Specialist will focus on strengthening the integrity of TSA’s operational data by conducting systematic cleansing, validation, and standardisation within Google Sheets. The role centres on identifying and resolving discrepancies, establishing reliable quality control procedures, and developing strategies that prevent duplication or inaccurate entries. You will work closely with internal teams to understand organisational data needs, refine input processes at the source, and produce clear reports that communicate data quality metrics to key stakeholders. The position offers exposure to the data backbone of a growing health-tech ecosystem and supports the development of skills relevant to data stewardship, process optimisation, operational analysis, and platform reliability.
