About WSB Cares

World Sports Betting Cares (WSB Cares) is the Corporate Social Investment arm of World Sports Betting, dedicated to uplifting communities across South Africa. Through initiatives like sponsoring local soccer teams, organising charitable events, and providing educational support, WSB Cares makes a significant positive impact. They focus on grassroots sports development, disaster relief, and educational programs, including bursaries and learnerships, aimed at helping underprivileged children and communities. WSB Cares is dedicated to promoting growth and development, ensuring a brighter future for everyone.

Bursary Opportunity 

WSB Cares is offering bursary support to assist eligible ICT graduates with settling outstanding tertiary tuition fees that may be preventing them from receiving their qualification certificates. This support aims to remove financial barriers that hinder graduates from formally qualifying and fully accessing employment opportunities within the ICT sector, enabling them to confidently enter the job market and pursue meaningful career pathways.

Who can Apply?

• Recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in ICT. 

• Must have outstanding fees requiring support to unlock graduation/certification or academic completion

• Strong academic performance: 70% average required

• South African citizens 

• EE/AA students (Applicants with disabilities are encouraged to apply) 

Degrees that WSB Cares will fund

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Information Technology

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Information Systems

• Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT)

• Bachelor of Computer and Information Sciences in Application Development

• Bachelor of Data Engineering

• Or any related degree
